SMS Client can use the libmodem-1.3 package written by Riccardo Facchetti. This package optional in the use of SMS Client. If you wish to use it you must have this library built and installed on your system before building SMS Client.

A number of bugs have been fixed since earlier release and I am confident
in using this release. I would like to thank Riccardo for all the work
he has put into this new release and welcome any feedback from user using
it with SMS Client.
